Actress, Kirsten Haupt was born on February 9,
1995 in Fresno, California. She is an only
child and is currently a student in Madera, CA, where she also resides with
her parents, Mark and Marlo Haupt. From a young
age, Kirsten could be found performing and heard
singing. From Karaoke machines at parties to
the theater stage in Fresno, young Kirsten has
experienced the ups and downs of performing in
front of an audience. Her first taste of
fame, small as it be, was when she was entering
Kindergarten and was asked by a representative of
Fig Garden Village in Fresno if she would be
available for a print advertisement for their
"Back to School" edition of their
newspaper. Clothing changes, hair and make up over
a long and hot afternoon didn't bother little Miss
Kirsten one bit. In fact, when it was over,
she asked what her next outfit would
be!
Known
for her "belt it out" voice, Kirsten has landed
lead roles in the last few productions with Children's
Musical Theaterworks in Fresno California. Kirsten
credits Artistic Director, Joel Abels, for developing her
talents, and for being such a positive influence in her
life. Joel's Technical Director, Jenna Coulombe, has
also provided Kirsten with the tools and tips necessary to
succeed in theater and her influence has only increased
Kirsten's love for musical theater. |

Her plans are to
continue with Children's Musical Theaterworks due to its
obvious incredible future, and the dedication of all in
the company to keeping children's musical theater alive in
the San Joaquin Valley. She credits her
parents for always being supportive and encouraging, for
driving her around, for helping her with her lines, and
for reminding her to practice her songs.
Kirsten
recommends to all aspiring performers to follow your
dreams and more than anything at all...have fun!
